On March 28, 2019, Guangdong Paper Industry Association held the 6th Eighth Council (Expanded) and Supervisory Board Meeting in Phoenix Mountain Hotel, Guangzhou. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Cuimei, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Paper Industry Association. Over 100 members of the board of directors, supervisors and extended representatives of the Association participated in the meeting. Chairman Weng Zhuo of Guangdong Paper Industry Association addressed the meeting.           

 The conference considered the list of new members and interpreted government documents and policies related to the industry. It was mentioned that in 2018, due to environmental protection constraints and increased costs of materials, energy and transportation, the cost of products and other costs will continue to rise. The state still attaches great importance to the attention and management of the paper industry. In such a market environment, this year, especially on environmental protection issues, the paper industry peers must pay attention to and take seriously. For this situation, the association is actively looking for measures to deal with it. It will accept high-quality energy equipment providers such as Solar Turbines Incorporated to join the association, with a view to providing papermaking industry with a better understanding of the situation. Environmental protection and energy saving problems in the industry provide high-quality solutions.
